Bluestar Academy, the premier e-learning platform, providing tutorials and guides for Bluestar PLM users to learn best practices with Bluestar PLM and all included modules.

The Bluestar Academy is an essential part of training new and experienced users of Bluestar PLM. Step-by-step user guides and tutorial videos allows users to learn the basics and advanced features of Bluestar PLM. The Academy – along with on-site training by PDM technology staff – is a means for users to get familiar with the system at their own pace, to eventually become super users.

User training is a crucial aspect of onboarding and implementing the Bluestar PLM platform, so our customers can achieve the full benefits of Bluestar PLM of faster time-to-market, lower development costs and mitigated risk of errors.

Hub for Customers and Associates

Bluestar Academy is a platform providing customers, partners, and associates with PLM industry expertise and advanced technologies. It offers insights and best practices from experienced software and production engineers to help drive success in the engineering manufacturing industry.

As a hub for the Bluestar PLM community, it fosters collaboration with partners, customers, and industry pioneers, sharing over 20 years of PLM experience. This essential platform enables close dialogue with our community, allowing us to gather feedback and continuously improve our products and services.

Maintentance

As a Bluestar PLM customer, you will be granted access to software updates as they are released. These updates will be in the form of either service packs, hot fixes or upgrades. The service pack contains improved functions of the software when service packs, hot fixes and upgrades are released.

  • Service Packs: A cumulative set of hotfixes and/or other fixes. Service packs do not contain any new functionality.

  • Hot Fixes: A quick fix to a critical defect in the live software environment. Hot fixes are often temporary fixes but may also be permanent fixes.

  • Upgrades: Involves new versions of the software which may contain hotfixes and/or other fixes and/or new functionality. These updates are available for all standard modules of the program and all increases in the number of internal users of the software. The updates are available for versions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM which are, at the time the updates are released, presently supported by Microsoft.
